	Young Cuthlan Allaine had lived in Highland Forest his whole life. But his family would not accept his engagement to a girl named Sabrialha because she was not human. So he decided to leave. She was Th'Nyla--a race of beings quite different from mankind. Their blood was thicker, their hair was like moss... But it was Cuthlan's belief that true love conquered all things. In many ways he was right. However, as Sabrialha's true nature began to be revealed, he would find he was also very wrong.
